Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Redditch, UK
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Evening availability required

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Machine Operator to join our team in Redditch. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, good attention to detail, and the flexibility to support evening operations when required.

You will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production machinery to ensure efficient and safe manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate machinery in accordance with company standards and safety guidelines

  
  

• Perform routine checks to ensure machines are functioning properly

  
  

• Monitor production output and report any issues or deviations

  
  

• Load and unload materials, ensuring correct positioning and safe handling

  
  

• Complete basic maintenance and cleaning of machines

  
  

• Work collaboratively with the production team to meet targets and deadlines

  
  

• Support evening production as needed (with advance notice)

  
  Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or machine operating role preferred

    
    

  • Good mechanical aptitude and understanding of production processes

    
    

  • Ability to follow technical instructions and safety procedures

    
    

  • Willingness to be flexible with hours and support occasional evening shifts

    
    

  • Punctual, dependable, and proactive

    
    

  • Basic understanding of health & safety standards in a factory environment
