The programme blends heritage, regeneration, and innovation, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and sustainable development rooted in Orkney’s rich cultural legacy

We are seeking a Project Officer to join our team and support the delivery of projects and initiatives that form part of the Programme. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to transformational and incremental improvements that will shape the future of Orkney’s heritage landscape. The programme is led by Orkney Islands Council in partnership with Historic Environment Scotland and Highlands and Islands Enterprise.

As Project Officer, you will be based in Orkney Islands Council and report into and work closely with the Programme Manager and also other Project Officers and staff based within the partner organisations to help coordinate projects, engage stakeholders, and support the development of systems and processes that underpin the programme.
