What You'll Be Doing

In this role, you will:
- Provide vital 1:1 or small group support tailored to individual learning needs
- Assist pupils with a range of SEND, helping them access the curriculum and develop essential life skills
- Support personal care, mobility, and daily living activities where necessary
- Help implement and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
- Work closely with teachers, therapists, families, and other professionals to deliver holistic support
- Foster a positive, nurturing environment that encourages social development, resilience, and independence

✅ Desirable Skills & Qualities

We're seeking someone who:
- Has experience or a strong interest in working with children or young people with SEND
- Is patient, empathetic, and able to remain calm and positive in challenging situations
- Communicates effectively with pupils, staff, and families
- Is adaptable and creative in supporting different learning styles and needs
- Works well as part of a team and values collaboration
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all pupils
