Summary

Housing Systems Officer
Full-time (37 hours) – Permanent and Part-time (32 hours) – Permanent
C1 - £33,366 - £36,124 per annum

North Kesteven District Council is seeking two experienced and skilled individuals in application support to become a key player within our Housing Systems Team. This pivotal role places you at the core of the Housing and Property department, supporting the delivery of essential IT functions across the Council and Lafford Homes’ housing portfolio of over 4,000 properties.

Job Requirements:
• Experience of practical Applications systems support
• Experience of advance reporting tools (for example Business Object, Power BI, SQL)
• Experience of MS Excel for advanced reporting and data manipulation
• Excellent data input and analysis, experience of providing accurate information

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement new modules, while enhancing and maintaining existing ones within the NEC Housing Application suite, to meet operational delivery
• Supporting system updates, testing functionality and demonstrating system navigation
• Developing procedural guides and producing data reports
• Ensure service continuity, including tasks such as processing Direct Debits, generating rent statements, batch queue management, and delivering year-end processing
• Working with a range of teams, understanding system requirements and deadlines
• Ensure compliance with best business practices (such as BACs regulations), and provide training to system users

Key Attributes:
• Ability to extract, analyse and present information clearly and accurately to deadlines
• Ability to undertake a range of varying tasks and progress projects simultaneously
• Good standard of written and oral communication and effective collaboration skills
• Proficient with MS Office applications suite
• Understanding of social housing landlord operational delivery

You will be required to apply a high level of attention to detail, be conscientious when carrying out this role, to support the delivery of Housing and Property Service at a technical level and show an appreciation of the contribution local government can make to the welfare of the people living, working, and visiting the district.
