Summary
Clinical: To be able to provide management of corneal eye conditions in a busy service as part of the corneal ophthalmology team. To manage corneal surgical cases. To provide cataract surgery if required To work in other areas such as eye emergency if required. Administrative: To participate in the departmental clinical audit meeting To manage clinics and theatre lists in close collaboration with secretaries and waiting list team To undertake managerial role as per consultant job. Research: To show interest in research opportunities Teaching: To participate in the departmental teaching for resident doctors and other allied health professionals. To participate in the regional teaching for resident doctors. Previous experience in teaching is welcome.
