Summary


An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrator to join the Acute Mental Health Service within Rotherham Care Group. The role involves providing admin support to Acute services based at The Woodlands, working alongside the Crisis Team, Home Treatment Team and Mental Health Hospital Liaison Team as well as providing cover for the main reception and ward when required.

The successful applicant will work under the supervision of the Admin Lead providing administration support for services; receiving calls to the service and providing quality support with high level accuracy in the day to day administrative function within the teams.
• The Post Holder will be expected to work using their initiative whilst working in partnership with key agencies. Communication and team working are essential skills to succeed in this role.
• Communicate effectively, accurately and professionally.
• Provide a confidential, quality administrative service to identified teams within Rotherham Care Group.
• Cover, Support other teams as required.
• Deal with telephone enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Remain calm in difficult situations.
• Prioritise tasks requiring immediate attention.
• Manage Systmone, dealing with referrals, manage and end current referrals to Rotherham Care Group.
• Maintain computerised patient records.
• Provide timely and accurate scanning service to the teams in line with records management principles.
• Monitor emails and inboxes.
• Open and distribute post.
• Book appointments, Room bookings and maintain appointment ledgers.
• Ensure patient letters and other relevant documentation are sent out in a timely manner.
