Summary

Job Description

Working in a hybrid style, based at home and Dundee House, you will work full time, 37 hours per week.

Requirements

You will have an HNC, or equivalent, in Accountancy/Business/ Management, or a relevant subject.

You will have work experience at supervisory/ management level.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the administration of the Council’s treasury activities and the administration of the investment portfolios of Tayside Pension Fund.

The Individual

You will have experience of treasury management, pension investment administration and accounting along with experience of using computerised treasury systems. You will also have a thorough knowledge of the systems, processes and procedures associated with this and experience of dealing with investment professionals.

A working knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Office 365 and operational experience of Excel at an advanced level is required.

Good verbal and written communication skills, high level interpersonal skills, excellent numeracy and accuracy skills, along with the ability to organise and prioritise workload, work under pressure and to meet deadlines are also essential.

You will have the ability to train members of staff on routine tasks.

A satisfactory Level 1 Disclosure Scotland check is required.
