Senior Bookkeeper – Sheffield - Full Time – Office Based - £30- £38k + benefits
Ash Consulting are working with a well-established Sheffield business, aiding them in their search for a Senior Bookkeeper. As the Senior Bookkeeper you'll integrate into a dynamic and experienced team situated in their Sheffield office. With ongoing growth in clients it's now a fantastic time to be joining this thriving business, engaging with a diverse range of companies nationwide.
In this varied finance role you will work closely with a small management team to perform a range of bookkeeping and accounting duties including; production of monthly management accounts, ledger and credit control, VAT returns, and cash flow as well as overseeing transactional duties and appropriate due diligence for the business.
The ideal candidate will hold an AAT qualification or equivalent, or be progressing towards ACCA accreditation, with prior experience in a varied accounting and business management role.We seek someone with strong communication skills, proficiency in QuickBooks and Xero, coupled with advanced Excel skills..
Key Responsibilities:
-Prepare Monthly Management Account
-Complete VAT Returns
-Cash Flow Management & Forecasts.
-Day to day Ledger control
-Oversee all transactional duties with precision.
-Some company secretarial duties as needed
-Collaborate closely with the Managing Director on financial matters as needed.
