Summary
Our client are looking for a Street Cleansing Operative to start ASAP, based in Uttlesford.
Duties:
* Litter Collection: Picking up litter from streets, pavements, and green spaces.
* Bin Management: Emptying public litter bins and ensuring they are clean and in good working order.
* Manual Sweeping: Using brooms and other tools to clean streets and public areas.
* Fly-tipping Removal: Clearing illegally dumped waste from streets and public areas.
* Other Environmental Issues: Addressing issues like graffiti, dead animals, and weed growth.
* Reporting Issues: Documenting and reporting problems like fly-tipping, vandalism, or damage to street furniture.
* Operating Equipment: May involve using pedestrian sweepers, litter blowers, or other mechanical equipment.
Paying £12.69ph plus holiday pay.
