I am seeking a dedicated and passionate Deputy Manager to join a well-established residential care home located near Banstead, Surrey. The home is known for its warm, supportive environment and commitment to delivering the highest standard of care for their residents.
About the Role:
As Deputy Manager, you will play a key leadership role within the home, working closely with the Home Manager and wider care team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the service. You will help oversee the delivery of person-centred care, support staff development, and uphold compliance with all relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Home Manager in all aspects of running the home
Lead by example to ensure a high standard of care and professionalism
Supervise, mentor and support care staff in their roles
Assist with care planning, assessments, and staff rotas
Ensure the service remains compliant with CQC standards and internal policies
Ideal Candidate:
Must already be working as a Deputy Manager within a care home setting
Extensive experience in elderly residential care, ideally with knowledge of complex care needs
Comfortable working a consistent shift pattern (no rotating shifts)
Confident, compassionate and committed to delivering high-quality care
Must be local to the Banstead area or willing to relocate nearby
