Summary

Working within the tenancy services team, this exciting role will support tenants in and around 7,900 council homes. It will work with an enthusiastic team whilst we continue to develop our tenant involvement in a progressive and dynamic way.

Our Tenant Engagement Officers are very active in the community ensuring tenant involvement is meaningful and drives service improvement. It is a very exciting time to join and shape this crucial area of our housing work. There will be a clear focus towards providing Transparency, Influence, Accountability and commitment to the principles of inclusion.

The successful candidate will need to have and use superb communication skills, be proactive in identifying, planning and leading activities, projects, events, engagements and reviews. The key skills of empathy, positivity, understanding and patience will be a clear advantage in this rewarding role.

Hours of work are 37 per week, Monday to Friday with a requirement to attend evening meetings and occasional weekend events as and when required.

DBS clearance is required for this role.

This is a hybrid working role (a minimum of 1 days per week working in the office).
