Summary

Financial Management Oversee the practices financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring income and expenditure. Ensure efficient use of resources and support strategic financial planning to maintain the fiscal health of the practice. Premises & Risk Management Ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation, infection control, and security standards. Manage all aspects of premises maintenance, risk assessments, and ensure a safe working environment for patients and staff. Business Planning & Development Develop and implement business plans that support growth, service delivery, and innovation. Work closely with GP partners to identify opportunities for service development and operational improvements. Staff Management Lead, motivate, and support administrative and non-clinical staff. Oversee recruitment, training, appraisals, and staff development to maintain a skilled and effective workforce. Foster a collaborative and supportive working culture. Change Management Identify and lead change initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and meet evolving healthcare demands. Effectively communicate changes to the team and manage transitions smoothly. CQC Management Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory standards and ensure the practice continues to meet all Care Quality Commission requirements. Complaint & Incident Management Manage and resolve patient complaints in a timely, empathetic, and professional manner. Ensure lessons learned are communicated and actioned to maintain high levels of patient trust and satisfaction. Significant Event Management Maintain a comprehensive log of significant events and near misses. Conduct root cause analyses and implement preventive measures to enhance safety and reduce clinical risk. Quality Improvement Drive a culture of continuous improvement. Regularly review practice processes and identify opportunities for enhanced service delivery and patient care. Claims Management Oversee the end-to-end management of insurance claims, including submissions, follow-ups, and appeals. Ensure compliance with payer requirements and maximise successful reimbursements.
