About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Test Analyst to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing test cases to ensure software quality and compliance with specifications.
You’ll work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to identify issues, define solutions, and deliver high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities
Review requirements, specifications, and technical documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
Develop, document, and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test plans
Execute functional, regression, integration, and system tests
Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Provide accurate and timely test status reports and metrics
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (if applicable)
Requirements
Proven experience as a Test Analyst or similar QA role
Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JMeter, Postman – as needed)
Familiarity with SQL and scripting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Knowledge of Agile development process is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
ISTQB or equivalent certification
Experience testing web and mobile applications
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git)
