Senior Business Analyst | London | Full Time | £60,000+ per annum (dependent on experience) plus Bonus and Benefits

Our global client provides technology and investment solutions to the financial services industry, and is looking to hire a UK Senior Business Analyst who will be responsible for leading projects and/or workstreams in larger programmes where new client firms are being onboarded to the client platform/services. Stakeholder management, internal and most critically client-side, is key.

Are you the right person for the job?

• Minimum of five years’ financial services experience in delivering change within Wealth Management/Private Banking
• An understanding of Wealth Management platforms, products and services with hands-on experience in defining, testing and delivering business, functional and client and data migration requirements
• Ability to deliver across multiple methodologies – agile and waterfall - with a proactive and self-starter mentality
• Experienced in managing the full project lifecycle, from defining and prioritising requirements, managing the change process, delivery methodology, test management and project management office tasks
• Strong stakeholder management ideally with experience of managing client-side stakeholders
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Prince 2, Agile PM or similar qualification (advantageous)
• Proficient IT skills - all Microsoft office products and able to pick up other systems/databases easily

What will your role look like?

• Once you are fully up to speed with the client’s platform, products and services, you will serve as a ‘subject matter expert’ for operational, middle & front office workflows/ procedures and support the design and implementation of new business requirements. This includes:
• Assisting client firms in identifying and delivering their business requirements, including analysis and development of workflows and procedures for the activities that will continue to be the responsibility of the client firm once they are live
• Working closely with other subject matter experts (SME’s) across the businesses to define end-to-end requirements, creating and facilitating working groups where appropriate
• Coordinating between internal operational teams and counterparts on the client firm side to ensure coherent solutions between the parties are defined and delivered
• Coordinating with appropriate market unit solution leads and feeding solution development requirements into the overall solution roadmap
• Evaluating the effectiveness and success of testing business requirements in a ‘Model Office’ environment and during Dress Rehearsals with client firms
• Coordinating with the Data Conversion and Configuration lead to analyse processing exception requirements to identify necessary changes to the operating model and the impact of those changes
• Contributing to the establishment of readiness ‘metrics’ standards – criteria that support go/ no go decisions and will be tailored for each client conversion/implementation
• Ensuring that all business readiness project work is conducted in adherence with internal project method delivery standards
• Partnering with relationship management and client service teams to ensure clean hand-offs to the ongoing servicing relationship
• Conducting lessons learned exercises post-implementation, and recommending improvements to the delivery of processes and standards
• Providing clear communication and management of project status, potential risks and issues to key internal stakeholders
• Building effective relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally
• Fostering and supporting a culture of continuous improvement
