Are you an experienced transport professional ready to take the next step in your career? Our leading retail client in Brackmills, Northampton is seeking a proactive and motivated Transport First Line Manager to join their dynamic logistics team.
What’s on offer:
- Salary: £32,000 per annum
- Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off
- Hours: 6am – 6pm
- Location: Brackmills Industrial Estate, Northampton

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of drivers and transport operatives to deliver excellent service standards
- Ensure all transport operations run smoothly and efficiently during your shift
- Maintain compliance with transport legislation and company procedures
- Manage vehicle availability, driver performance, and daily planning activities
- Liaise with warehouse, planning, and customer service teams to resolve issues and ensure on-time deliveries
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in a transport or logistics supervisory role
- Strong people management and communication skills
- Solid understanding of transport compliance and health & safety regulations
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a time-critical environment
- IT literate with experience using transport management systems (TMS)
