The RoleAs a Graduate Trainee Teacher of Mathematics, you’ll join a committed and knowledgeable maths department. Key Responsibilities-
Support the planning and delivery of engaging maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

Deliver small-group sessions to reinforce numeracy skills and support students’ progress

Contribute to the development of teaching materials, schemes of work, and assessment tools

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and resilience in mathematics

Take part in weekly training sessions and benefit from one-to-one mentoring throughout the year

Engage in whole-school initiatives, extracurricular maths clubs, and departmental projects
Person Specification-
A minimum of a 2:1 degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a closely related subject

A strong interest in secondary education and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching maths

Experience working with young people (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, volunteering) is advantageous

Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
