Summary
We are currently recruiting for a Workshop Labourer / Delivery Driver, working within our fabrication facilities & delivering as required to our sites around the UK. James Engineering is a family run business specialising in the design, fabrication & installation of secondary steelwork/retro fit works, staircases c/w handrail/balustrade, mezzanine floors, chimneys, ducting and flue support structures to name a few.
Responsibility and Duties:
Full UK category B drivers’ licence – preferably clean driver’s license
Undertaking deliveries & collections locally and across the UK.
Undertaking labouring duties within the shop floor environment
Previous experience working in an engineering fabrication environment desirable.
Previous licence / training or experience for counterbalance forklift truck desirable
Proactive positive attitude
Able to work under own initiative individually or as part of a team.
Overtime may be required to keep pace with our full order book and the requirements of given deliveries. Pay is negotiable depending upon experience and qualifications.
