Summary
Salary: £32,500 – £36,000 per year + amazing benefits
A newly established solo children’s home in Herne, Kent is seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a therapeutic residential care setting. This is an excellent opportunity to grow into a leadership role while making a meaningful difference in young people’s lives.
You’ll work closely with the Registered Manager (applying for dual registration) as part of the home’s core management team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality, child-centred care.
Key Requirements:
• Level 3 or 4 NVQ in Children and Young People’s Workforce (or equivalent)
• Experience as a Deputy Manager or Team Leader in a children’s residential setting
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and positive behaviour support
• A passion for supporting children to achieve positive outcomes
• Full UK driving licence
