Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated social worker to join our London MOC team as an ASW (Approved Social Worker) with a minimum of 2 years' post ASYE (Assessed and Supported Year in Employment) experience. This role is essential for providing high-quality support and intervention to individuals facing various social challenges. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work collaboratively with colleagues from different sectors to ensure holistic care and protection for vulnerable individuals. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing case plans, and implementing strategies to promote well-being and safety. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of social care legislation and a commitment to safeguarding. In addition to improving individual outcomes, your work will contribute to the overall effectiveness of our service. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals’ needs and circumstances.
Develop, implement, and monitor care and support plans tailored to individual needs.
Collaborate with other professionals and agencies to coordinate services and interventions.
Provide support and guidance to individuals and families in crisis situations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in accordance with policies and procedures.
Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and relevant training sessions.
Advocate for the rights and best interests of service users in all interactions.
Requirements
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work or equivalent).
A minimum of 2 years post ASYE experience in social work practice.
Valid registration with Social Work England.
Strong understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Experience in risk assessment and safeguarding practices.
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £24.83
