The Role

Our client is seeking a Course Leader in Sport and are inviting individuals interested in heading up their Sports and Exercise Science and/or Physical Education and/or Health and Exercise and Sport programmes. You will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of these subject areas, leading curriculum delivery, and ensuring an outstanding learning experience that blends academic rigour with real world application. As a key academic leader, you will manage a team of lecturers, support curriculum innovation, and work closely with industry and sport sector partners to ensure their content remains cutting-edge and career focused. You'll also contribute directly to teaching, assessment, and quality assurance embedding their unique commitment to character development and social mobility.

What They're Looking For:

- A strong academic and/or professional track record in one or more of the following areas: Sports and Exercise Science and/or Physical Education and/or Health and Exercise and Sport Experience in curriculum design, delivery, and quality assurance.

- Proven ability to lead academic teams and inspire innovations in teaching.

- A learner-focused approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Commitment to their mission and values.

Desirable:

- Experience of developing or delivering degree apprenticeships or CPD programmes.

- Background in engaging with industry and sport, education and/or health sector professionals.

- Familiarity with alternative HE pathways and non-traditional student journeys.

Interview Process:
