Night shifts - £13.21 per hour - £18.66 per hour for overtime - Temp to Perm
  • Monday - Wednesday, 18:00pm - 06:00am

Located in the beautiful town of Newton Abbot, the facility offers a modern and well-equipped workspace. With easy access to public transportation and ample parking available, commuting to work will be a breeze.

The ideal candidate should be available Monday to Thursday from 6am to 4pm, with the possibility of occasional overtime. We offer a competitive hourly rate of £12.21, and overtime is paid at £18.31 per hour, with all training provided. The main responsibilities of the Production Operative will include:

  • Operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce metal components according to specifications.
  • Welding and fabricating metal parts using various techniques.
  • Inspecting finished products for quality and accuracy.
  • Assisting with loading and unloading materials for production.
  • Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organised workspace.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:

  • Previous experience in metal fabrication or production is preferred, but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of CNC machines and welding techniques.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
  • Strong work ethic and team-player attitude.
  • Manual handling experience is desirable.
