Start Date: provisionally 4th Aug 2025

Location: East Hampshire District Council (EHDC)

We’re looking for a proactive and customer-focused individual to join our IT Help Desk team on a temporary basis this summer. This
role will provide essential support during our Councillor IT rollout, helping ensure a smooth transition and continued service
excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Provide first-line IT support to staff and councillors
* Assist with device setup, troubleshooting, and user queries
* Log and manage support tickets using our internal systems
* Support councillor onboarding and training sessions as needed

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

* Experience in IT support or help desk environments
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* A flexible, can-do attitude and willingness to learn

This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a busy IT environment while contributing to a high-profile rollout. If
you're available part-time over the summer and have a passion for tech support, we’d love to hear from you!
