Randstad Education is currently recruiting for a committed and experienced Primary SEN Teacher to join a welcoming and well-resourced school in Surrey. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with communication and social interaction needs-primarily linked to Autism-in Years 2 to 6.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, differentiated teaching for pupils in Years 2-6
  • Create a structured and nurturing learning environment tailored to individual EHCPs
  • Foster student's communication, social, and emotional development
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants and support staff to maximise student progress
  • Track pupil attainment and implement strategies for continual improvement
  • Promote an inclusive and respectful classroom culture
  • Work closely with parents, carers, and external professionals

Requirements
  • QTS, PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching pupils with Autism or similar SEN profiles
  • Strong understanding of personalised teaching and EHCPs
  • Confident in managing behaviour positively and supportively
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one)
