We have an amazing new SEMH Teaching Assistant offer located in Walthamstow, East London. As a compassionate SEMH Teaching Assistant who is willing to support year 5 girl who has strong emotional mental health due to previous childhood issues. As a SEMH Teaching Assistant your day-to-day role will involve you providing direct support for the classroom teacher.
The ideal candidate:
- Experience working with students with behavioural challenges, preferably in an educational or special education setting.
- Knowledge of behaviour management techniques, positive reinforcement strategies, and de-escalation methods.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
