The Payroll Delivery Coordinator will play a vital role in supporting the payroll function within ISS UK, delivering accurate and efficient administrative and system support to the central payroll team.
This role involves managing the day-to-day payroll administration tasks, including data input for the fortnightly payroll cycle, performing compliance and quality checks, and ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
Job Description
As a key point of contact, the Payroll Delivery Coordinator will also assist with resolving employee and business queries, ensuring a responsive and customer-focused service.
The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential, as is the ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy at all times.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the smooth delivery of payroll operations and support the broader goals of the People Services team.
Key Responsibilities
Process payroll data, including starters, leavers, changes, and absences
Input and validate timesheets and additional hours
Apply seasonal adjustments and Agenda for Change terms accurately
Respond to payroll queries with excellent customer service
Support the Payroll Delivery Manager during key payroll periods
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
Strong IT skills (Excel, Outlook) with confident data handling
Clear communication and a strong customer service focus
Able to prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines
Understanding of data privacy and GDPR compliance
Flexible team player with a proactive approach
