This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the acceleration of our improvement journey working predominantly with our Adult Services Teams.
About the Role:
As Senior Manager - Adult Services, you will provide strategic leadership and improvement support across a range of adult social care services. Working closely with senior leaders and operational teams, you will help drive forward key improvement initiatives, ensuring services are aligned with national standards, local priorities, and the HSCP's strategic vision.
You will lead performance improvement, embed self-evaluation practices and ensure that the voice of service users is central to service development.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic direction and improvement leadership across adult social care services, including Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, Addictions, and Community Health & Care.
Ensure services meet statutory duties, national care standards and regulatory requirements.
Lead the development and implementation of policies, procedures and improvement plans.
Promote integrated working across the HSCP and with external partners including third sector, and independent care providers.
Oversee quality assurance and performance monitoring systems.
Support and advise senior leaders on improvement priorities and service development.
What We're Looking For:
You should have extensive experience in both delivering improvement and knowledge of professional standards and be ready to approach the work with pace and professional acumen working alongside senior leaders and operational staff. Experience in partnership working and a commitment to high standards of professional practice and service user outcomes are essential. The post holder must hold a professional qualification in social work and be registered with SSSC
