Tate are delighted to be working with a local authority on an Electoral Services Administrator position. This is a short term 4 week opportunity and is based on site 5 days a week with no hybrid flexibility.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a local authority and they are looking for a strong candidate with experience in the following duties:
- Assist with the compilation of the annual Register of Electors including the maintenance of the, on-line updating of data from prime documents, processing of special category electors.
- Administer voter applications and queries relating to all aspects of Voter ID and postal votes including the use of the Government portal and approving the applications.
- Assist with the provision of poll cards, absent votes, ballot papers, stationery, official notices and registers for polling parties.
- Carry out all duties connected with elections and referendums, including use of the in-house bespoke system.
- Respond to enquiries and communications from members of the public in relation to electoral matters.
- Safeguard children, young people and adults at risk and make referrals to the appropriate agency.
