As Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:Supervising and supporting pupils, ensuring their safety and access to earningEstablishing constructive relationships with pupils and promoting inclusionSupporting the use of ICT and encouraging pupil independenceMonitoring pupil progress and providing feedbackAssisting with planning, delivering and evaluating learning activitiesSupporting implementation of behaviour and individual education plansPreparing learning materials, displays, and general admin tasksSupporting school activities including lunchtimes and trips What You’ll Bring to Futura We are looking for a supportive and proactive Teaching Assistant who:Good standard of education (5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade C or above) – EssentialRelevant TA qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3) – DesirableFirst Aid qualification – DesirableExperience supporting pupils in the classroom – DesirableExperience supporting pupils with additional needs – DesirableUnderstanding of classroom roles and principles of child development – EssentialStrong communication skills and ability to engage pupilsAble to support a range of pupils, including those with additional needsGood use of initiative and ability to work independently or as part of a teamEffective use of ICT to support learningDemonstrates a passion for creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all members of our school community.Aligns with our trust-wide values by bringing a positive, collaborative approach to their work and a willingness to continuously develop professionally.
