We are seeking an experienced and driven Workforce Development Manager to lead and grow our training provision across the two counties. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our workforce development services—ensuring excellence, innovation, and sustainability. Our Workforce Development team deliver a range of accredited courses to local businesses, including ILM leadership and management, coaching, H+S, and bespoke programmes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage a team of trainers, administrators, and associate subcontractors.
• Develop and deliver a high-performing, cost-effective training operation.
• Build strong relationships with new and existing customers to expand our reach.
• Oversee the design, delivery, and quality assurance of training programmes.
• Monitor funding and tender opportunities, preparing bids where appropriate.
• Ensure robust systems are in place for enrolment, certification, and compliance.
• Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement across the organisation.

About You:
• Proven experience in a senior training or management role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Commercial acumen with a track record of meeting financial and operational targets.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Knowledge of funding streams, quality assurance, and awarding body requirements.
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to excellence.
