Summary

We are looking for a Vocational Instructor to join our OUTSTANDING school (OFSTED, May 2022) and help transform the future for the autistic young people with complex needs we support.

You will be part of our Hospitality Vocational Learning team teaching young people skills in Customer Services Retail skills and Conference Services. You will work alongside our team of Learning Leads, which include teachers, therapists, and behaviour support leads, as well as liaising closely with our Wellbeing teams.

Wage: up to £18,000 per annum
Hours: 22.5 hours per week (days to be agreed)

40 weeks per year (including 2 x 5 day ‘Training Weeks’)

Contract type: Permanent

As a Vocational Instructor, you will be delivering a high-quality learning programme in an environment that will support young people to grow and develop. You will deliver learning to achieve individual I Can statements and develop Learning Journeys in relevant Areas of Learning. You will also undertake tutor responsibilities to a small cohort of young people working in conjunction with their residential team.
