Working Hours: Full-time, 36 hours per week Rate: £12.51 PAYE / £16.24 Umbrella
The Role
Join the dedicated Safeguarding Team at Sefton MBC as a Business Support Assistant, where you’ll play a vital role in keeping operations running smoothly while supporting efforts that make a real impact on children and families in the community.
This is a fast-paced role with lots of variety, ideal for someone with exceptional admin skills, a calm head under pressure, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Provide admin support across the team, including minute-taking in a range of operational meetings
Handle incoming telephone calls and manage sensitive queries with professionalism
Coordinate the collection of information from other agencies to support casework
Use Sefton’s Liquid Logic system to input, update, and manage case information
Support the day-to-day functioning of the team through efficient typing, document handling, and general administrative tasks
What We’re Looking For
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid IT skills, especially within data management systems like Liquid Logic
Attention to detail and the ability to manage sensitive information appropriately
A flexible team player who can adapt quickly to changing priorities
Experience in a safeguarding or children’s services environment (desirable)
