Summary

Randstad Education are looking for an experienced School Business Manager for an OFSTED rated 'Good' Primary school in North Liverpool.

The ideal candidate would be a motivated and conscientious leader with a background in strategic planning and management of school finance. If this sounds like you, please read on!

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

Financial Management:
Overseeing the school budget and ensuring efficient and effective financial planning and resource allocation.
Managing day-to-day financial operations, including but not limited to: payroll, invoicing, and procurement.
Provide regular financial reports and analysis to senior leadership.

Strategic Planning:
Effectively collaborate with the Senior leadership team to develop and implement the school's strategic plan.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue generation.
Contribute to the long-term sustainability and growth of the school.

Human Resources:
Oversee HR functions, including recruitment, on-boarding, and staff development.
Ensure compliance with employment regulations and maintain accurate personal records.
Implement effective performance management systems.

Facilities Management:
Supervise facilities and maintenance staff, promoting a safe and conducive learning environment.
Coordinate projects and maintenance schedules.
Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors.

Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure the school's compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
Develop and implement risk management strategies.
Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as necessary.

Qualifications and Skills:
A degree in business administration, finance, or a related field is preferred
Proven experience in financial management and strategic planning preferably in a school setting
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
Knowledge of the education sector regulations and funding mechanisms.
Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
