Your new role
This is a lab-based position where you'll be a key contributor to the analysis of drug compounds within a variety of biological matrices, helping to drive forward both early-stage and regulatory research.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Running advanced laboratory tests using LC-MS/MS to measure drug levels in biological samples.
- Designing and refining testing methods to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Preparing samples using a variety of techniques to extract the necessary data.
- Keeping detailed and accurate records in line with internal procedures and industry standards.
- Reviewing and interpreting results, identifying any inconsistencies or issues that need further investigation.
- Working closely with colleagues across departments to support a range of preclinical and clinical projects.
- Managing your workload to ensure results are delivered on time and to the highest quality.
This role has the potential to be either full-time or part-time dependent on your requirements.

What you'll need to succeed
We're looking for someone who brings both technical know-how and a collaborative mindset. To thrive in this role, you'll need:
- A BSc degree (or equivalent experience) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a closely related scientific field
- Strong hands-on experience using LC-MS/MS (preferably within a CRO, pharmaceutical or biotech company)
- An understanding of good laboratory or clinical practices (GLP/GCP)
- The ability to manage your time effectively, whether working independently or as part of a team.
- Strong analytical thinking and clear communication skills to support problem-solving and teamwork.
