We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable General Science Teacher to join a dynamic and supportive science department. This is a fantastic opportunity for an educator with a passion for science to engage students in KS3 and KS4, fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for the subject. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a General Science Teacher:
Deliver high-quality science lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at KS3 and KS4
Use a range of teaching strategies and practical work to engage and support all learners
Plan, prepare and assess work in line with curriculum requirements
Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback
Contribute to curriculum development and the wider life of the department
Ideal General Science Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
A degree in a science-related discipline
Sound knowledge of the science curriculum across all disciplines
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students as a General Science Teacher.
