Summary

Platform Housing Group is a not-for-profit organisation that reinvests profits into building more homes and engaging with communities.

We’re looking for two Administrators to join our Empty Properties Team, which plays a key role in preparing homes for new tenants.

This team plays a vital role in managing the transition of homes between tenancies, ensuring properties are ready for new customers efficiently and professionally.

As an Administrator, you’ll support a range of tasks including managing inboxes, preparing tenancy documents, liaising with utility providers, and updating internal systems. You’ll be part of a fast-paced, collaborative team that values flexibility, accuracy, and great communication.

These roles are remote-based, with occasional travel to our Birmingham and Worcester offices, and offer a chance to be part of a fast-paced, supportive environment.

About You

You’ll be someone who thrives in a busy environment and is confident working independently. You’ll have strong IT skills, be comfortable using multiple systems, and have a keen eye for detail. Experience in housing, marketing or utilities is a bonus, but not essential—we’re more interested in your ability to learn quickly and work well with others.

If you’ve worked remotely before, that’s a plus. We’re looking for someone who can manage their time effectively, stay organised, and contribute positively to a supportive and high-performing team. Ideally, you’ll come from the housing or utilities sector.

In addition, you’ll also;

Be comfortable using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel) and internal systems or databases.

Have clear written and verbal communication, especially when liaising with colleagues, customers, or external partners.

Are able to identify issues and take initiative to resolve them or escalate appropriately.
