Summary

To provide a high quality, professional and comprehensive administrative support to the Safeguarding Adults, Children, Maternity, MCA and Learning Disability Teams thereby assisting in the provision of a quality service to all staff including data input, dealing with telephone calls and emails, collating research information for meetings, adding and updating eRecord RAPA alerts, management of electronic diaries and meetings, formal and informal minute taking. Contribute to a comprehensive efficient and effective administration and clerical service to the Safeguarding Teams, MCA, Maternity and Learning Disability Teams. Provide cover and assistance in the department for other administrators as required. Deal with telephone enquiries directly or ensure the efficient transfer to ensure prompt & efficient action. Please note it is a requirement of The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust that all successful candidates who require a DBS for the post they have been offered pay for their DBS certificate.The method of payment is a salary deduction from your first months pay.
