We are looking for an exceptional PMO Manager to join the Strategic Change Service within the Corporate Services Group.
The Opportunity:
Operating in direct support to the Head of the Portfolio, this role provides day to day management of the Portfolio Management Office. Provides oversight and coordination of quality assurance, performance monitoring, reporting, risk, issue and resource management
We are an expert team of professionals advising, coordinating, supporting and co-producing strategic initiatives and improvements in partnership with our colleges and services, and their constituent schools and departments. We are driven by a commitment to deliver positive outcomes that benefit those who work, study and partner with the University.
The role holder will line managed by the Head of Portfolio Management Office and will play a significant part in the delivery of a high quality PMO services to the Strategic Change Service Team and our broader University network of stakeholders who support the delivery of portfolio.
The role holder will line manage a team of PMO colleagues and be required to ensure that service delivery aligns to the Strategic Change Service’s Mission statement and objectives.
We are recruiting for one open-ended role.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week). We are open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
The salary for this post is £40,497 - £48,149 per annum.
Your skills and attributes for success:
Experience of operating within a governance framework and producing executive level reporting
A proven track record in effective resource planning and management
Proven experience as a PMO Manager or in a Senior Project Management role
Strong understanding of Project Management methodologies
Experience with Project Management software (eg MS Project, JIRA)
Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
