Full time hours on a temporary basis
- Develop and implement a long-term strategic plan for harbour repairs and infrastructure investment.
- Lead the Engineering function within the City Docks, ensuring all infrastructure is maintained to the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Provide expert guidance on all engineering and dredging matters, offering both strategic direction and practical solutions.
- Oversee compliance with Health & Safety regulations, EMAS, and ISO14001 environmental standards.
- Manage and deliver all programmed engineering works in line with the Harbour Act/Order, Byelaws, and Council policies.
- Lead the planning, budgeting, and execution of all Capital Programmes within the Docks Engineering Team.
- Inspire and develop a high-performing team of engineers and technical staff.
