Summary
Job Purpose:
To support the effective enforcement of traffic and parking regulations through the review and assessment of CCTV footage. This role involves identifying contraventions, processing Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs), and ensuring enforcement activities comply with legislative and procedural requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Review CCTV footage in real-time and retrospectively to identify parking and traffic contraventions.
Make accurate and timely decisions on issuing PCNs in line with relevant legislation (e.g., Traffic Management Act 2004).
Operate CCTV enforcement systems and software to monitor camera feeds and log evidence.
Maintain accurate records of all enforcement actions and decisions.
Ensure all reviewed footage meets evidential standards for enforcement and potential appeals.
Liaise with appeals and back-office processing teams as needed.
Respond to requests for information and assist with Freedom of Information (FOI) or Subject Access Requests (SARs), when required.
Ensure compliance with the Data Protection Act, GDPR, and relevant surveillance legislation.
