Description

Responsibilities
Conduct regular inspections of licensed businesses to ensure compliance with licensing regulations.
Investigate complaints regarding unlicensed businesses and violations of licensing laws.
Prepare detailed reports on inspections and investigations, documenting findings and recommendations for action.
Collaborate with law enforcement and regulatory agencies to address compliance issues and resolve disputes.
Provide guidance and training to business owners on licensing requirements and best practices for compliance.
Develop and implement outreach programs to educate the public about licensing regulations and the importance of compliance.
Monitor changes in regulations and advise management on necessary policy updates or training initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, public administration, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of two years of experience in enforcement, compliance, or regulatory roles.
Strong knowledge of licensing laws and regulations at local, state, or national levels.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting and public interaction.
Ability to handle sensitive situations with diplomacy and professionalism.
Proficient in using technology for documentation and reporting purposes, including MS Office applications.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the community for inspections and investigations.
