Do you work in health and social care? Are you looking for a new and exciting opportunity? At Countryview children's respite service we’re hiring 2 Full-Time Intensive Support Practitioners.
Are you passionate about making a genuine impact in the lives of children and young people? Do you have the resilience, compassion, and commitment it takes to support those with complex needs? Quarriers—a leading Scottish social care charity with over 150 years of experience—is looking for two dedicated Intensive Support Practitioners to join our Children’s Respite Service. These are full-time roles (37.5 hours per week) based in a supportive, person-centred environment where your work truly matters.
About the Role:
As an Intensive Support Practitioner, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, consistent support for children and young people accessing our respite service. You’ll work as part of a dedicated team, following care plans and routines designed to empower each individual, while ensuring their safety, dignity, and wellbeing.
What We’re Looking For:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Children and Young People)
HNC in Social Services (or equivalent)
If you hold only one of these qualifications, you may still be considered, with the expectation that you’ll work towards achieving the other while in post.
In addition, you must:
Be able to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 3 months of employment
Be a strong team player with compassion, patience, and a child-centred approach
Be committed to safeguarding and delivering consistent, quality care
