Summary
A brief and specific description of what they will be doing The postholder will be responsible for supporting and developing the pleural interventions service which meets the needs of our population and drives admission avoidance. Training will be available to help improvement in procedures (Including non-pleural if the post holder is interested) although evidence of basic pleural procedures competence will be a required Management of inpatient care will be shared with 5 other registrars and will include the management of inpatients including those on acute NIV under the care of the respiratory consultants, chest clinics and respiratory referrals within the hospital. The postholder will be expected to partake in training, education, governance meetings (including morbidity and mortality (M&M) meetings) and diagnostic Lung MDT meeting.
