Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join ACRO’s International Services on a temporary basis as ACRO Deputy Manager.

More about the role
The successful candidate will manage their own workload and that of their team, deal with personnel matters and develop work streams relating to the wider strategic aims for the delivery of ACRO’s purpose.

• We are looking for a new team member with experience in managing people, whilst also working with both internal and external stakeholders. You will provide clear, effective and visible leadership for your business area and support the ACRO Senior Manager to deliver against strategic objectives.

• Experienced in delivering complex programmes of work that contribute to the purpose of the organisation and the delivery of strategic objectives.

• Practice continuous improvement, good risk management and engender a culture of flexible working practices to make the most effective and efficient use of resources and service delivery to meet changing business needs.


• Engage and develop relationships with partner agencies (such as Government Agencies, Home Office Officials, disclosure and vetting agencies, external suppliers and Foreign Embassies) in relation to the work of ACRO.


• Whilst the size of your team may vary from 15 to 60 first and second line reports, the challenges you will face will always be diverse and will use your ingenuity and experience.

Please note that you may be required to work unsocial hours on occasion, sometimes at short notice in order to meet constantly changing business needs.

Essential Qualifications
• Educated to QCF level 6 OR work experience deemed to have brought the role holder to a comparable level

Essential Experience
• 1-2 years experience in a management role with evidence of developing staff and robustly managing performance, conduct and attendance.
