This role is suitable for hybrid working.

As Operations Policy Coordinator you will be responsible managing the creation and review of all operational policies and procedures within the Customer Services Directorate. You will play an essential role in ensuring that policies and procedures go through proper scrutiny channels and meet our own internal standards as well as regulatory and legislative expectations.

Using project management methodology, you will work collaboratively with senior stakeholders, frontline teams and subject matter experts to deliver clear, easy to understand guidance for colleagues. You will work closely with the Corporate Policy Team, and the Customer Voice Team, providing advice and guidance to colleagues on the policy creation/review process and sector best practice.

What you'll need to succeed

This role requires excellent IT skills, in particular using the Microsoft Office suite, strong project management skills and stakeholder engagement.

Our team is geographically dispersed and supports teams across our area of operation, so some travel will be required, as well as an ability to work independently.

Experience in a frontline operational role and good sector knowledge and understanding are a must, as well as excellent communication and literacy skills.

This role involves working on multiple projects at once so you will need excellent time management skills and an ability to prioritise your workload appropriately, responding to changing timescales and overcoming barriers as needed.

A project management qualification will be a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shaping and proof-reading content provided by policy/procedure owners to comply with the corporate templates and deliver clear guidance for colleagues
  • Guide the development of each policy and procedure with the owner, providing assurance to the business that all stakeholders have been engaged, appropriate consultation has taken place and relevant approvals obtained and delivered on time
  • Attend workshops and meetings where policy and procedure redesign are discussed to support continuous improvement, working with colleagues across MTVH to support the improvements to systems and processes
  • Looking externally for best practice to support continuous improvement in our policy and procedure processes including national quality standards
  • Build strong and effective partnerships with internal teams to ensure that shared strategies and plans are understood and implemented
  • Maintaining an up-to-date policy and procedure library for colleague and customers

Interviews are planned to take place in the week commencing Monday 7th July 2025, in our offices in Beeston, Notts and Farringdon, London.
