Summary
We are looking to recruit an Experienced Vehicle Mechanic to join our team at a busy garage in Middlewich, HGV Mechanic Experience would be an advantage but not essential, Plant Machinery Experience a great advantage.
The successful candidate will need to have experience working with vehicles ranging from small van to Mercedes Sprinters all the way up to 32T Grab Wagons and a vast range of Plant Machinery.
Full UK driving licence is essential for the role, any unspent points or convictions must be declared on application, Own tools essential, Specialist Tools, Workshop Equipment, Diagnostic Equipment & PPR is Provided.
What you'll do day to day: Typical duties include General Vehicle Maintenance and Repairs, Brakes, Suspension, Servicing, Clutches, Diagnostic Testing, Fault Finding, Hydraulic Repairs, Completing Job cards.
The Applicant should be confident to work independently as well as supporting other Technicians in the Workshop as a team. You should be able to read and write & have basic computer skills (training will be provided for any specific software programs that we use).
We carry out repair to all our own Plant Machinery and our Plant Hire Division working from everything ranging from Stihl Saw up to 30T Excavators.
They will need to Reliable, Organised and Trust Worthy.
Competitive Rate of Pay,
Hours are 7am - 5pm Monday to Friday Overtime as and when req'd
