Are you calm under pressure, patient, and passionate about supporting young people?
Long Term Futures is working closely with a number of secondary schools and specialist SEN provisions across Nottingham, and we are looking for passionate and proactive Behaviour Mentors to join our partner schools. All positions are in one setting and are on a long term to permanent basis.
Whether you're experienced in education, youth work, or support roles-or you've used mentoring techniques in sports or community settings-we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do as a Behaviour Mentor:
- Support students in managing their behaviour in and outside the classroom
- Help reduce barriers to learning through positive reinforcement and tailored strategies
- Build strong and trusting relationships with young people
- Collaborate with teaching staff and SEN teams to implement behaviour support plans
- Keep track of progress and communicate outcomes with school leaders
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with young people in education, care, youth work or sports coaching
- Confidence in managing challenging behaviour calmly and constructively
- Resilience, empathy, and the ability to remain consistent
- Excellent communication skills
- An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
