About the role as a Electrical/Electronics Engineering Teacher:Activate Learning are recruiting an enthusiastic and experienced Engineering Teacher to join our Engineering and Construction Faculty.The successful candidate will have a strong background in Engineering, particularly electrical/electronics, along with an ardent desire to develop themselves to help shape the future of Engineering. In this role, you’ll deliver inspiring and practical lessons to students across a range of levels, ensuring their learning meets industry standards and prepares them for future careers. Alongside teaching responsibilities, you’ll also support the maintenance of workshop facilities and play a key part in upholding a safe, well-equipped learning environment.What you need to be a successful Engineering Teacher at Activate Learning: To succeed in this role, you will have:• Level 4/5 qualification (or higher) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related discipline• A teaching qualification or a willingness to work towards one• Industry experience in electrical and/or electronic engineering• Familiarity with engineering principles relevant to manufacturing, aerospace, or electronics applications• Exposure to, or understanding of, T Levels in Engineering and/or Space/Aerospace Engineering• Strong practical skills in electrical/electronic systems and components• Understanding of health and safety regulations in engineering environments• Ability to work with young people in a workshop or classroom setting• Effective communication, planning, and teamwork skillsIf you're looking for an opportunity to inspire and educate the next generation while advancing your own career, we'd love to hear from you!What Activate Learning offer to new Teaching staff?Here at Activate Learning, we recognise the importance of a good induction when joining a new organisation.
