Summary

The Regulatory Interface Administrator (RIA) is appointed by the Authorisee to manage and record the outputs of Clyde Nuclear Safety Committees on behalf of the Chairperson and has authority from the Chair to conduct of their duties.

The RIA will provide support to the Annual Review of Safety (AROS) and all levels of Regulatory Interface Forums (RIF) as required. RIA will also support all meetings requiring interaction up to the level of NBC(C) or equivalents within Defence and Statutory Regulatory Bodies.

In addition, the RIA will be responsible for liaising with Defence Nuclear Safety Regulator (DNSR), ensuring that communication between all parties is suitably tracked, distributed and hastened where required.

A breakdown of the keys areas of the role are;

Regulatory Interface

To act as conduit for communication between the appropriate Regulators and section members.
Provide admin and co-ordination support to DNSR Site weeks.
Co-ordinate and Produce the Regulatory Interface meetings calendar for each year
To support the management of internal and external Corrective Action Reports from regulatory bodies.

Clyde Nuclear Safety Committee

Facilitate the effective operation and smooth running of the CNSC, including generating meeting packs and producing minutes of meetings.
Keeping an up to date list of Appointed Members and their contact details.
To produce the Annual Matrix of CNSC Dates and distribute to relevant parties.
Manage the Action Grid and prompt Actionees on behalf of the Chairperson

Annual Review of Safety

Facilitate the effective operation and smooth running of the Annual Review of Safety.
Maintaining accurate contact details of Defence and Statutory Regulators.
Produce Agenda and briefing packs in support of the meeting.
To liaise with the presenters nominated by the Chairperson to ensure all potential submissions are considered and received in acceptable timescales.
To manage the Action Grid and prompt Actionees on behalf of the Chairperson

Clyde Local Liaison Committee

Provide support to Emergency Planning team in preparation of this meeting.
Produce an accurate record of the meeting and distribute within appropriate timescales.
Manage any actions arising from the meeting through to closure.

Further administrative tasking will include the upkeep of sharepoint site, interface with other sections and departments within the directorate and wider site.
