Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive information and advice to clients regarding services, benefits, and resources they may need.
Conduct assessments to understand client needs and tailor advice accordingly.
Collaborate with local organizations to provide referrals and additional support services for clients.
Develop and deliver training sessions to enhance community understanding of available resources.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with organizational policies.
Monitor and evaluate client outcomes to ensure effective service delivery and improve practices.
Stay updated on legislative changes and policy developments affecting client services and resources.
Requirements
Proven experience in providing information and advice in a professional setting.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to client interactions.
Knowledge of relevant services, benefits, and support systems available in the community.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to assess client needs accurately.
Proficiency in using computer software and databases for record-keeping and communication.
