Are you an enthusiastic and creative English Teacher with a passion for literature and language? A well-regarded secondary school in the Shropshire area is looking to appoint a motivated English Teacher to join their dynamic and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire a love of reading, writing, and critical thinking in students across a range of abilities.
Ability to cover other subjects when required will be beneficial.
Responsibilities of a Secondary Teacher:
• Deliver and provide opportunities for students to learn and express themselves.
• Ensure that students are engaged, motivated and on task.
• Manage any behaviour issues that may arise.
• Follow school policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress.
Requirements of a Secondary Teacher:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to manage behaviour effectively
• A positive attitude and a willingness to collaborate
• Flexibility and adaptability
Registrations required to be a Secondary Teacher:
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, but if you do not have one, you can apply for a new one through Educate.
